Fall DIY’s

Written by Paige Oschwald

Fall has descended upon us, meaning the time has come to relax. Use these autumnal DIYs, from pumpkin desserts to festive hallway decorations, to decorate your life for the fall season.

  1. Pumpkin Cookies

Follow a sugar cookie recipe of your choice. To make these extra pumpkin-y, trace a circle shape onto the cookie with orange frosting. Add a green frosting stem. Collect unsalted pumpkin seeds and sprinkle them onto the top of the cookie.

  1. Pressed Leaves

For some easy autumnal decor, collect colorful leaves and lay a layer of paper towels over the middle of a heavy book. Place the leaves individually over the paper towel layer, ensuring they do not touch each other. Fold the book pages over the paper towels, flattening the leaves. Wait 24 hours before removing. Remove leaves and place inside a clear photo frame to make a lovely accent piece.

  1. Fall Ingredient Jars

Collect pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries and a medley of almonds, peanuts and walnuts. (Or choose a few different fall ingredients that you love!) Fill clear mason jars with each to provide a cute snack opportunity. Mix the ingredients to make a trail mix for quick on-the-go trips.

These DIYs make snacking and decorating simple. Good luck decorating, and have a festive fall!
